AHAH!! THe speed at which the car goes, if I understand well the HMT philosophy, is not as important as the fun the owner has to build it!!
To answer Chinoy's question, For building manifold from these low carbide bends, Gas welding gives good results but I found you can get even better results with flux core + Gas.
