Hey whats up my buddy is trying to turbo his 98 kia sephia. We have most of the supplies to finish the project except the damn manifold. Which brings me to my question does anyone know of a cheap alternative to this problem. I did a search but ran into nothing but dead ends. Do any of you know of any one who used a modified DSM manifold or anything for that type of setup. Ohh yeah and this is my first post on homemadeturbo def. better than honda tech. LOL

they have a section for flanges that is not yet up
what does the stock exhaust mani look like? cast?

 

If thats the one with the mazda 1.8L than one from a miata or japanese GTX should fit.

 

wow thats cool so a miata turbo mani would work on the 1.8L Kia

 

since the project is custom. THe turbo manifold has to be custom made too.

 

Was the manifold from Jeff's kia on a 1.8l?

It can be done. Find the Gaskets, get flanges and gert someone to fab it.

 

I think the 98 1.8l is the same engine I made a manifold for the 03 spectra. < 97 used the older style mazda engines. I dont think the miata stuff will fit on the 98+
