Default turbo integra motor not running right

I am new on this sight, and i have done an extensinve amount of research on the setup i am running, but i can't find the answer to this question. i have a 94 civic hatch with a 94 integra GSR motor in it. i have built my own turbo kit and installed all the parts. i have a dsm t3 turbo .42 a/r trim with an internal waste gate. i have no intercooler and i have 450cc R/C injectors with a vafc hack. the problem that i have is that when my car hits boost (at all) it cuts off like i just took my foot completely off the gas pedal(even tough i still have it floored). the check engine light comes on and displays a code for the map sensor. i thought that the map sensor might be bad but it runs fine if the turbo isn't hooked into the intake piping. Ihave purchased a new map sensor from the acura dealership and it still does the same thing. i have a missing link that i purchased from a tuning shop called inline pro. I was told that if i ran the 450 injectors with the afc hack and i turned to fuel setting down to -40% that it would hide boost from the ecu. I have gotten the turbo to spike once or twice to about 7psi but then it cuts off again. in 1st gear it goes to about 6 grand and cuts off 2nd it goes to 4500 and 3rd it goes down to 4000 the higher i go in my gears the sooner it cuts off understand that the engine doesn't die it just feels like I just let off the gas. i have tried running this setup with and without the missing link and it makes no difference. i wonder if anyone has had this problem before or can offer any suggestions. I don't want to go spend a bunch of money on a new ecu or getting mine chipped if that is not the problem. thank you for your time and help

First off you dont need a missing link with the AFC hack. Second you have the AFC hooked up wrong if you are getting a CEL for the map. Or at least the setup settings are wrong.

correct me if i am wrong, but dont you guys think his turbo is WAY too small for that motor? i mean, that .42 is only good to about 6000rpms, and a GSR motor can do about 8500rpms until redline...right? i think that ONE of your problems is that your turbo losing power after 6000rpms. right??

His turbo size has nothing to do with the problems he is having.

i did not install the hack myself, but it was installed about a year before i put the turbo in. i know that it is working because when i put in the injectors the car would barely idle and it smelled very rich in the exhaust. i turned the fuel down to -40% and the idle smoothed out and it isn't running as rich. i have only adjusted the fuel curve and nothing else. i have the owners manual, but it is very complicated and only tells how to adjust settings and not what they do. if anyone can give me advice on what settings i need to adjust or tell me where i can go to find out i would greatly appreciate it. Is there any possibility that it could be anything else?

Ditch the afc and missing link
Get your ECU chipped

Its not expensive

Make sure the MAP IN/OUT's are correct.

The main adjustments adjust the amount of voltage going into the ECU from the MAP sensor so the ECU will 'see' more or less intake manifold pressure.

In other words, get your ECU chipped and sell the AFC on ebay. You'll have spare cash and a better running car.

take off the missing link and see what happen.
becasue you do NOT use misslink with vafc hacks.

ez
get your ecu chipped . its noy expensive at all there are some real cost effective but dam good programs at the same time . Keep the injectors and then get it all tuned up .. air/fuel ratio etc..
we did a b18c on my mates teg , trust me wen those engines are boosted correcly ( hes running a link plus system ) they can be as fast as anything out ther.
good luck tho , always the little things
