ya know what after thinking about it some more, you probably could push that turbo farther just not sure about 400 though.....i would expect you would be pushing 20+psi to do it with that turbo....pm blaast he will be better equipped to answer this question

i pm'd him...i was looking at his prices theyr not that bad...do i send it to him and he rebuilds it and then shipps it back?

Yes it's a good size for your setup.


everything looks repairable.
Simply looks like this turbo somehow lost it's balance and prematurely lost it's balancing.
machining the shaft and undersize bearings will be needed. that's no extra cost.
you'll end up better than with a chinese turbo.

so your asying my turbo that i have is acutally a good turbo for my power goals if i change the compressor side of the turbo?

I bought the exact same looking turbo.. It IS ching change yellow meow... BUT I bought a garret center section for mine... MADE DAMN GOOD POWER on it oo.. STock f22b1, 305 WHP and 307 tq@ 15 PSI. Id say 400 is doable, but itll take around 25 psi to see it. Get it rebuilt, itll work fine foir you and your goals.

Mine also had the bogus T cast in it (they rip off EXACT castings)....


Mines a 48/50 ar... 57 trim stage 3 wheel.

thanks man..im having Blaast rebuild the entire thing and upgrade the compressor to a .60 or .63 so it wont take as much boost..thanks for the motivation i was starting to get down :'( ...i didnt want to buy a new turbo
