Yeah you did say that AFTER IT GOT HERE AND I MADE A THREAD ABOUT IT!!

I payed $200 for a rebuilt snail from what I thought was a respected guy around here.

Theres no ------- way in hell you didnt notice this large yellow marking and large crack or hear this thing moving from side to side. Then you say theres nothing you can do about a refund.

I dont have the money in my budget to buy one of these "cartridges" you say I should buy nor do I know itll fix the problem because I read that once the axial has play, the wheel has already done its damagae and the turbo is junk.

I wouldnt want to open this turbo up anyways, I have no experience

"grab both ends of the shaft and try to move it in and out, axial play. any axial play is terrible for a turbo, if this is enough for the fins to hit the housing the turbo is garbage. usually caused by the thrust bearing/washer grinding on the half moon oil disk, can be cured by a rebuild if the fins havent hit the housing"
