Default Turbo help needed

Lately I have been throwing together a custom turbo kit, along with doing so, a great amount of research to make sure everything fits to how I want. Currently I am waiting for my greddy exhaust manifold to come by way of UPS so I can't test to see if it will fit but anyway, I currently have a rebuilt garrett t3 that came off of a volvo 740 (.42 compressor and .48 exhaust). I bought this simply because size was small and it had a fast spool up.

And yes, I am a panzy that requires the a/c, so that's one of my main objectives in building this turbo kit.

So, an exhaust manifold designed to retain the a/c (greddy), and a small turbo that hopefully won't rub up against my a/c. Here's the prob, just by eyeing it, it looks as though the inlet side of the turbocharger may come in contact with the condesnor. I know how a turbocharger works but I've never actually disected one, it it possible to un-bolt the inlet side and rotate it that it clears the condensor??

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hey tell me how your project goes. I am trying to build up a kit for my 99 5spd accord. I really am only having trouble finding out what used manifold i could make fit my accord, as a custom ordered one gets expensive.

there are guys on this site who can make you a manifold blank for 150..then weld the flange where u need to work with A/C..usually when you wanna keep a/c the condensor is not the problem..its that dang A/C compressor. oh and by the way that greddy manifold is not gonna fit a T3..or anything but the greddy turbo that comes with the kit.

i dont think a greddy manifold is going to fit your t3..

something about greddy manifolds only fitting greddy turbo's or something (not 100% sure)

Ya i would be interested in getting a mainfold i can get adapter plates easy and would even be willing to weld the plate on a custom mainfold myself. I dont think the A/C compressor will be too bad considering that the accord fits in the v6, so with my 4cyl there is room to spare. Who does custom manifolds? Best price i can get is in the $300 range.
