I have just put a turbo 2 engine in my first gen rx7 and and looking at upgrading the turbo to somthing after market so i can put a boost controller.

upgrade fuel and computer first, then turbo. stock turbo off the turboII is uncontrollable. u add exhaust and intake, then in fourth gear you'll be seeing creep/spikes up to 20 PSI. Port the wastegate, leave either a restrictive intake (stock one) or a restrictive exhaust, keep one, it'll save your engine from blowing.

 

I really love you for putting the Turbo II in a 1st gen. That should've come with that motor stock. They run so ------- good! Did you use the GSL-SE front cover or just the 12A cover? How about crossmember? You used the SE oil pan too right? Show me some pictures!!!
