Turbo Exhaust for a CRX

Well i need an exhaust BAD!!!!!!!!! I need to know what brand that makes an exhaust at least 2.5. This will be good enough for a turbo motor boosting 8 lbs?? or will 2 1/4 be fine enough????

I dont want to get one made, because the pipe isnt a solid size its like big then gets smaller on a bend. thats just what the local exhaust shop is like.

I picked up an OBX midpipe off ebay for $90 shipped. 2.5" mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel with resonator. I'm happy with it so far for the price. Just get a 2.5" high flow cat and run a straight pipe back with no muffler. Throw a tip on if you care about looks. It's cheap, effective and bolts up to stock hangers.

Here's one on ebay now.. it's a little more than I paid, if you hold out, you can find it cheaper.

you could order your binds off ebay then take it to a shop and have them weld them for you!
I have 3" mandrel bent from turbo to the tip under my crx al for about 275.00

Re:Turbo Exhaust for a CRX

I was thinking about getting a flowmaster muffler rear axle back, and then getting some kind of mid pipe and a test pipe for the cat. Would this be sufficient for the setup im creating??

You don't want a chambered muffler, which is what all Flowmasters are. I have one on now, but plan on ditching it when I put the turbo on. I'd look towards the dynomax super turbo / Ultraflow or Magnaflow for a decent straight through turbo muffler. Or, just ditch the muffler altogether. The turbo makes the exhaust quiet without a muffler when you're not romping on the gas.

You could always hook up with ss-autocrap for all your exhaust manifold/piping needs.. - J/K :P

Agreed, you don't want a flow master, they don't go well with hondas, had one on a CRX Si (N/A) and it sounded like total rice :-[

Dont even bother with a muffler, just go straight pipe. If you are really worried with how loud it is going to be, just put on a resonator. I couldnt believe how much quiter my exhaust was with the turbo on. My next step is to ditch the muffler.
