Default Turbo D14 almost completed (some pics, 56k beware)

Well, as subject says - almost completed.
Honda Civic 1.4iS, 6th generation, engine D14A4.

So, what's been done:
Garrett T2 turbo, custom made manifold(yes, A/C is still there) and downpipe, inline BOSCH fuel pump, new gas lines for high pressure, FMU 10:1 (yea, yea.. no AFC here - only intend to run lower boost), misc piping/etc...
What hasn't been installed yet is IC and all air piping (hopefully next saturday when guy that is supposed to do them gets his machine for pipe bending back from repair).
Gauges added are boost gauge, oil temp gauge and A/F meter.

Started 1st time today car with turbo on (as said, no air pipes connected yet), works OK! Turbo spins & whistles nicely
So far, judging by sound and noise of turbo, seems like it'll have nice pull from 2500rpm. WIthout pipes I cannot floor gas, as turbo makes reeeealy big noise of just pumping air, but so far so good... havent noticed any smoke on exhaust, so seals seems to be OK (turbo was re-made).

Anyway, only few pics I made today before everything was completed (well, at least this part).

Oh.. on pic O2 sensor is not connected as I had to lengthen it - so don't nag about that

I removed afterall intank fuel pump.
To anyone who runs FMU - DON'T RUN IT WITH STOCK PUMP!!! Stock pump is like 1/4 size of this inline pump!!!!
.. tho only thing left bugging me is noise of inline pump - it's mounted horizontally now, will try to mount it vertically to see if it'll be any quieter *sigh*.

... more pics will follow when project is completed

Looks good and you are keeping the AC. Maybe some people will now learn what you need to do to keep their AC.

From what I have read from other members, running a turbo without charge piping is potentially very bad since the turbo cannot build boost to open the wastegate which can cause it to spin at a much higher rate of speed than it was designed for and damage it. Don't run it very much and be very easy on it if you can help it. FYI
Good job on the setup though. Looks great!

You could just remove the WG actuator so you don't over rev the turbo while there's no charge piping?

D14A4 is 1.4 liter engine - very common in Europe (I'm from Europe).
It's rated 90HP, rev limit is at 7100rpm.
There are also 1.4 versions with 75HP, but can be easily be remade to ~90HP.

As for boost... this week I'm gonna put charge pipes (guy that was supposed to make 'em broke his machine for pipe bending - so waiting to get it fixed - he said it'll be fixed this week).

Also, I'm now not driving car untill charge pipes are done, cause I noticed there's some oil going out of pressure part of turbo. As I've been told it's normal cause no charge pipes are connected. Well, hope it's true.. I'll find out soon enough
