Re:Turbo CRX D16A6
posting is when they drill holes in the sides of your block and insert "posts" that go to edge of the cylinder and just give it support.

Re:Turbo CRX D16A6
heh, that sounds just like larry, ---- I have had alot of long distances chats with that guy, god he is a hard one to get off the phone. Lots of great info though... lots of people belive his knowledge is complete bullshit, especially the guys on honda-tech. https://www.homemadeturbo.com/zc/builtzc13.jpg Posting looks simple, and probably is, but you need to have the right alloy stud, and know the proper spots to do it, their is 4 on the exhaust side, and 8 on the intake side. Supposivly they are torqued to 1 inch pound. then filled with epoxy. Jeff |
Re:Turbo CRX D16A6
Jeff, who did you use to have your block post? Does Endyn offer this service? I will have problem finding a shop to post cylinder properly. When I had RC Engineering rebuild the engine for my 86 CRX Si to SCCA spec in 1989 it was so much simpler. Now I have to spend days trying to find out which popular product actually works.
