Default turbo crx

ok check it out, i wanted to see if my car would start with stock inj and fmu,255 walb. when i tried to start the car it went pup-pup-----------pup----------pup then the car is flooded ive messed with the timing a little but i dont have timing light so just guessing. ive had block work done so the timing belt is off a tooth or so. but i have a adjust cam gear to make up for that. should it be adva or retar and how many degre. i just want the car to start before i go out and spend money on fuel mana.

I dont think you have to retard or advance timing only to start your car. Go ahead with stock timing. When you say "pup" its detonation or just "try to explode without result"? Is your car turboed or not?
