i just purchased a turbo kit, now i don't have a downpipe. will i be able to connect the the bottom half of the header to the turbo exhaust?

 

If you have the flange for the downpipe at the turbo, and you want to go and hack up your header to make a downpipe, then yeah you can do that. But you'll probably need to weld in some more piping to get the right bends and length.
