Turbo completed!!!
Well I got everything installed this week. Here's my setup:
stock d16a6
HF manifold (ported and polished)
HF/14b adapter plate
14b 1st gen Mitsu turbo
modified Starion intercooler
450cc mitsu injectors
custom downpipe with separate wastegate dump tube
3" test pipe with stock o2 and extra flange for wideband o2
3" thermal research exhaust
stock oil pan modified for oil return with 10AN fitting
charge pipes from DRAG kit for CRX and a few extras to accomodate 14b
1st gen Mitsu BOV
zdyne gold secu
OPM limited slip
Kosei K1 anthracite 16x7.5 with Parada Spec2s
Added all the fluids, configured the Zdyne and started her up to look for any leaks. No leaks. Took it around the block, boost comes up to peak at 9 or 10, wastegate opens, blow off works. YEAH!!!!!! Lovin' it.
One problem.....smokes like Spy Hunter. Since it's smoking constantly I don't believe it's a problem with the return line. I think the seals in the turbo are shot so now I get to see if I can get it rebuilt this week. I've got some pics and will post them next week. Just had a small drive (tease) tonight.

Re:Turbo completed!!!
I actually used a honda fuel rail banjo fitting on the feed line. I had a 10AN fitting welded to a flange that fits onto the oil return on the turbo and from there it connects to a 90 degree and then stainless braided hose to connect to the straight 10AN into the pan. I wish I had my buddies camera. I had forgotten mine so I took pictures with his and the battery died at the end, otherwise I would just show you the pics.
Here's a pic or two of some fittings I found online that are what I used:
The 90 coming off of the outlet-
Straight coming off of pan-
line itself-
The only other thing I can say is that the distance between the return and the pan is very short....maybe 6 inches....and turbo outlet is probably only about an inch to an inch and a half above the pan return, but with a 10AN hose I would not think there would be a stoppage issue and it's not kinked anywhere as there is very little hose between the straight and the 90 degree. I'll try to get a hold of the camera with pics to show you guys what I'm talking about.

Re:Turbo completed!!!
you dont have to 'proove' it. I believe you. Im just trying to rule out any possible mishaps.. ---- happens and in all the excitement things get forgotten so I was just checkin.
sounds like 1 of 2 things.
1. seals in the turbo
2. just excess needs to be burned off.

Re:Turbo completed!!!
I know you weren't asking for proof and believe me I can use all the input that I can get....I don't believe it would be excess as it was probably run for about an half hour to 45 minutes and still smoked just as much as it did at the beginning.....i am pretty sure the seals are the key....
