Default Turbo cams

I know the stock cam isn't bad for a turbo, but I'm looking for something a little better. Suggestions? I've looked @ webb, crane, and it doesn't appear crower makes one for D16a6. I'm also looking for a larger intake mani, thinking skunk 2. I'm planning on running a t3/t4 15-18psi. I've got wisco 8.8/1 pistons, eagle rods, block guard, and damn near all new internals. I still have a list of crap to get but I'm closing in.

You have to have a N/A motor before you have a turbo motor. Look at ITR cams work great in b-series all motor and in Turbo b-series.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, V-tec...it uses the scavenging effect (uses exhaust pulses to pull the intake) and would allow boost to blow good mixture through the exhaust. It's not active at low rpm so overlap isn't occuring (very little if any). At the point where V-tec is active the valve events overlap more aggresively, to compensate you raise the engagement level. N/a cams (non V-tec)work on the same scavenging effect but have no lowend lobes to offset the highend, therefore, blow by. Turbo cams have little to no overlap.

somebody's been doing their research. Your right duration is bad on a FI car, however the type-R cams have proven themselves in some FI cars but that doesn't help you at all with a D-series

duration is not really bad for fi...look at the japanese style cams like the hks...they have like 272 degrees of duration and a short lift...overlap is the thing that makes the all motor stuff bad for turbo...i run the crane turbo cam in my d15 and im pretty happy with it...
