You need the turbine wheel and housing from the hx35.

 

So really the easier way is to put the cold side of the hx40 on the hotside / center section of the hx35.

 

Well guess im going to go for it. Worst case I don't like it and upgrade to a hx35 later on and can use the HE351 on my other maxima. Think I can get mid to upper 300s with it? Also would a 38mm be big enough or think I will get boost creep?

 

if a hx35 can take you to 550, how is an extra 110cfm going to help you get to 300?

a hx25 could get you to 400hp with half the cfm of a hx40....

 

Going to go ahead and do the HE351 will be awhile before I get the car done need new clutch and set of bigger injectors along with fuel pump. I also got to figure out how to route charge piping. That bend kinda makes it a little difficult with current setup so might be doing a little chop chop to make it work. The HE351 being only 9 cm or .65 a/r a 38mm should do right? Just found a nice chart from doing some searching really helped me out. With the whole cm someone let me know if its correct.

ar's are worthless when not referenced in overall wheel size.


200mm to 100mm is .50ar.

60mm to 60mm is 1.0ar

well it just gave me a general idea on the size. I havnt looked at the maps at all for it. Will do tomarrow getting little late. Might pick up turbo friday night. Looks like the tial 38mm I got should work just fine. Can't wait!!!

 

An HX25 would never get anywhere near 400 hp.
