a good way to keep it hidden is to not open your hood every chance you get. that and a flatblack front mount rubber hose piping like a factory turbo car

Plumb wastegate dumps back into the exhaust. BOV to intake tract, run a proper airbox with filter to reduce intake resonance (turbo whine, BOV action).

It is only fitting that a person with Charles Bronson in their avatar holding a big *** gun, would quote such words of wisdom.

2. yes its a good idea, no custom header, not in the way of the a/c, unused room back there anyhow, corvettes work great with turbos at the rear of the car, Its not the exact same thing everyone else is doing, I have the stuff to do it, I like stealth stuff.
Probably gonna do it soon, just thought someone might've done it already on here, and had a writeup or some pics. guess i'll just have to do my own writeup.
don't see any problem with heat, they make header wrap for the exhaust and turbo so it won't hurt anything back there, the air filter will be where the stock one is so it'll be suckin in cold air.
shouldn't take too long to spool. the small turbo i'm using comes in real quick, so it won't change much at all. if anything, it'll help with traction as it broke loose easily on the other car we had it on.
just figured someone mighta had pictures with all the crazy things people try on here.
Hold on a sec. A...B....C...D...E....F.....G.. Yeah, I thought that was right.. You missed one buddy!

Apparently you don't fully grasp what he is trying to say here. Read it again and think it over there, Tex.

Some sort of decent heat shielding between the IM, firewall and turbo would be a great item to fab up as well. And I would think IC placement and piping would be a bitch. Along with space issues. IIRC there isn't much room back there. But good luck none the less. Post pics of progress/fails.

Good eye, I'd like to say it was intentional, but I'm far from perfect.

would be easier and easy to fix if anything goes wrong.
