Beginners tip: don't expect to have the answers handed to you on a silver platter.

My advice: Research, research, research. When you think you're done researching, research some more.

Read the FAQ thread for starters. That should answer 99% of your questions.

Don't take this post the wrong way. I'm not trying to be an -------. Just giving you a warning about the ******** who don't like people that don't research.

Whenever you add horsepower to a motor you are usually doing more damage to the motor. There are several members here that are boosting well over 100,000 miles(some over 200,000). Tuning is key. If you plan on running at a low psi like 5-6 you're probably going to be using an FMU which isn't the greatest tuning device. You should be ok with 5-6 psi as long as you don't get boost happy and crank it up to 15psi. Get the right gauges and keep the oil clean.

5 psi oughta net you about 300 extra horsepower. Be careful, you may experience time travel with that much power. But really, nobody is gonna tell you what kind of power figures you can expect because every car is different. Every setup here is different, if you were on the Greddy turbo board then you might get some better answers, but just do your research, boost it and dyno tune it then tell us what you get. Simple.
