I want to start a turbo proyect and i dont know which turbo should i choice.
which turbo you guys recomended t25 turbo, 14b turbo, ihi rhb5 turbo, teo4 turbo ot a t3 turbo from nissan 300 zx.
i want to run 10 -12 psi of boost and i want somethink to start spooling fast, my current modifications are:
mini me engine
hf manifold
dsm 450 cc injector
walbro fuel pump 255
msd ignition 6 dual
b&m fpr
aem cam gear
shitty fmic and bov
zdyne gold ecu.
Like I say, Im just a noobie and any tips will help me a lot thanks.

 

14b is cheap and abundant while also being a good match for a D16.I like usiing something I can find easily locally and is cheap.

 

A t3 is probably you best choice. less to change later when you want to upgrade to something bigger

 

how can i get the 14b turbo boosted to 10 to 12 psi i think u only can go to 8 psi with the internal wg and the t3 turbo isnt set to 5.5 psi onthe internal wg haw can you boost it up to more psi and also i want somethink to start spooling fast please help.

 

just use a mbc to up the boost

 

use a t3 off the 300zx

the ihi of the t-birds and probs/mx6/626 will spool very fast and they can run 10psi all the way to redline. plus very easy to find a lot of cars came with them, probably find one in very good condition for around $100 or less. t3 with internal WG and HF manifold a bitch. WG hits the block check TURBO PROJECTS to find out more. 14b on D16 full boost around 4k not very quick. (from what I’ve heard)

 

 

so if I use the 14b turbo set at 10 psi with a mbc, at what rpms I'll get full boost also what size has to be my charge piping.
I love the sound of some bov which bov will be really loud thanks.
