Yeah you don't want ANY backpressure....

The less backpressure you have, the bigger the difference in pressure between hot and cold side and it will help spool the turbo even more.

so lets say i put a straight 3inch pipe from my dp, to a can with no glasspacking....you think it would sound shitty? i mean i really dont think i would mind because i care more about perforamance than apperance...and so it would be good for my 42/48 air research turbo? thanks

Might not sound the greatest, but it would be ideal for a performance point of view.

how bad could it sound....my exhaust i have right now is only like 1 7/8 inner diameter and it has 1 mandrel bend in it to go to the muffler.... i have a bunch of holes in my exhaust and i am running rich as ---- so when my car is running everyone in my car gets high off of 93oct...lol i jus wanna get rid of the smell
