I predict your tune will suck and the ringlands will die. But until that point, ten pounds, will turn you out.

managed 2 figure out the crazy timing on my y7 and made 218 on a leaky gate that bounced between 12 and 14
so you get 180-190ish

sorry guys, i only did a street tune, and my boost gauge wouldnt hold 10psi very well, so we left it at the stock wastegate and that is around 5-6psi.

one question, the tee that came with my MBC has like a restricter or something (no a check valve) on one of the T sides. Are they suppose to be like this?

Is it a bleed type boost controller or does it use a regulator and connect to the wastegate top port? If it's a bleed type it needs to have a restrictor first in-line then to a T. One side of the T goes to the wastegate side port, the other side of the T goes to an adjustable needle or ball valve. This is how i've done it before anyway. Without the first restrictor you won't get your boost as high because the turbo pushes enough air to still open your wastegate even with the bleed open (to an extent). It doesn't need a check valve. If it uses the top port it's different. What type are you using?

thats the one im running. So the restrictor side would go to the rubber tubing off the compressor, and the side that air moves through freely would go to the actuator. According to the picture, the red fitting would then go to the ftting on the boost controller that is pointing DOWN. So where does the other fitting on the boost controller go?

Since I don't have it in front of me to check this is just a guess. Also, I don't know if it's just a needle valve or a regulator type from the photo. Looks like it's just a needle valve to me which means it's a bleed type controller. On the "T" I don't know if it matters which fitting goes to what. If it's just an open "T" it doesn't matter. If there is a restrictor on one of them that one would go to the compressor. From the pic I guessed and that's the one I labeled "To compressor". If it's a bleed type and you connect the controller outlet to the wastegate top port you will not have control over your boost and it will most likely keep rising the longer you stay in boost until you blow something up. Didn't the thing come with any instructions or details?

It's an internal gate, there is no side wastegate port.
