tunertoys injectors
hey guys wahts up i ahve the tunertoys correctinjec t 660cc low impedence fuel injectors. im running uberdatat for tuning my car and it seems like no matter what i do i cant get the air fuel to stay at a constant level its like the injectors arent reacting right or something. im asumming that because the injectors are low impedence and that they are peak and hold style injectors taht i need to have a hionda resistor box wired in (which i do already have wired up im just checking) the reason i ask is becasue i read somewhere on here taht the injectors were direct drop in no resistor box needed. that doesnt make sense to me but its what i read so im trying to find out if my problem is that im not supposed to have that resistor box wired in. if someone could shed some light on the subject it owuld be much appreciated.

Re: tunertoys injectors
no man i have the resistor pack installed fromt eh previouse dsm 390cc injectors installed. my question is that i had heard that you didnt need it for the tuner toys injectors and i figured the fact ath im running them wiht the resistor pack could be ------- them up. thats what im asking but if the resistor pack is needed which i have then are they just shitty *** injecotrs or what. i mean they will not hold a good air fuel ratio no matter what.

Re: tunertoys injectors
He sells 450's in both hi and low impedance, I believe he sells the 550's and 660's in only low impedance, so you do need to get the resistor box for those. What set-up are you running that made you decide to run 660's?

Re: tunertoys injectors
the 660's are not available as saturated, only peak and hold. you need to have the resistor pack (same as if you were using dsm 450's). i am currently running the dsm's but craig is sending me some 550's that are saturated so they are direct replacements for my stock 240's. i may have some 450's and a resistor pack for sale soon!
i'd think it is a problem with your ud tune?

Re: tunertoys injectors
ok heres the deal because people seem to not understand i have the resistor box. i also have the 660cc injectors. im not a dumbass i just personally hand built my motor. and it will soon be tuned for 20 to 22 psi for the track. thats why i need the large injectors in all reallity i want to get 1000cc injecotrs but that will come at another time. as i was going voer the map i was able to find that by adding a little bit of timing i was able to make the map more stable so i think its mroe of an ignition tune then a fuel tune issue. anyways thanks for the info guys.

Re: tunertoys injectors
Check the injectors with the old screwdriver trick to make sure all of them are firing. If they are all firing, look elsewhere for the problem. If any of them aren't firing, contact Craig and he'll definately take care of it.
