Here is the deal on the ARP2000 bolts.
Our supplier was the one who originally told us these rods could do 700HP with the ARP2000 bolt upgrade. We passed this info on to our customers in our FAQ about the rods. Once a lot of folks started asking about the upgrade, we decided we would get with ARP, so we could carry the bolts ourselves. Turns out that ARP has never offered a 2000 series bolt, that is a direct match for the 8470 series bolt that is currently included in the rods. So that kinda sucks. ARP is willing to make the bolts for us, but at a huge cost.
What it comes down to, is that the only way to get the upgraded bolts, is to have ARP make them yourself. THis just wouldn't be worth it. For what you'd pay ARP to make 8 bolts, you could just get a set of Eagles which already have the 2000 series bolts.
Sorry about that!
The nice part is, we've never had one of our rods fail, and there are some guys putting out some big numbers on them. A couple of them are in the 400WHp range, which is huge for a budget build. I think that if your staying under 400WHp, these rods and the existing 8470 series bolts ought to do just fine for you.

The rods can be used up to 500Hp and 7K RPM (according to our manufacturer). This applies to all our rods for the D, H22, B18A/B, B16A/A2/A3, and GSR engines. Of course I'll bet that for the engines with a stock redline higher than 7K, that these rods will easilly exceed the stock redline.
