TT crx

I was thinking since i got to t25 turbo for my crx i was wondering if it would be a good idea to twin it.Just because they spool fast. But wit a twin they would spool mildly and hold at high end right?Let me kow.

send the turbos my way...ill do it, let you now how it worked, and then sell you back the kit

Re: TT crx

yes 2 t-25's would work well for a twins set up, you gotta do a lot more custom work to get it set up, modify the front end of the car a bit, the radiator support and so on to make it all fit, build a custom twin manifold, and devise a plan for charge piping, it really wont be that much harder than building a single turbo set up, just a little more cutting and welding involved with building a mani. and making room for two turbos, i say do it, a lot of people talk about doing it and never do, good luck!

No

Re: TT crx

I forgot the name, but someone on this site ordered oil lines to do a twin turbo wrx, using two of the stock turbo's off a wrx. The plan was to run 13 psi off each one and run 26 psi. :-X

so two turbos with 8psi springs will run a total of 8psi. so even tho the spring says "open this turbo's wastegate at 8psi" it will actually open at 4?

Re: TT crx

I ran a twin setup in my crx with a ls/vtec. I must say it was a fun setup to do, but it really wasnt worth it. a Nice single t3/t4 will get the job done and be alot easier to work with. Especially since t3/t4's are pretty damn cheap nowadays I'd just pick one of those up. But here are 2 setups if you want to get an idea how to do it.

no, it will open when there is 8 psi in the signal line. since both are doing this, there will only be 8 psi

Re: TT crx

Just cause you have duel turbo's doesnt mean you will double your lbs. of boost. I am new to this site but I at least know how to use the search button ::). Seriously, SEARCH!! Just cause you type a few words in and nothin comes up doesnt mean it hasnt been done :o.

Re: TT crx

easy way to think of it

two compressors making a certain PSI compared to one.

both turbos are compressing the same area :)
