Tricking the MAP?
Am I going to need to trick the map sensor or get a bypass valve on my D16Z6?

Re: Tricking the MAP?
I have a Blox FMU btw... I know it says not to use them in the sticky but it came with the kit...

Re: Tricking the MAP?
if your running under 14 psi you'll be fine... stock map reads 13-14 psi if i remember correctly
i bought a 2.5bar map sensor from xeno because i plan on 18, more if possible after break in |

::)
Yes you will need a missing link or check valves with an fmu. To trick your ECU, not your MAP. |

i bought a 2.5bar map sensor from xeno because i plan on 18, more if possible after break in Programs like crome etc have it written in the code that allows boost to be seen Try to boost a honda on a bone stock ecu It will throw a map code within a couple seconds of boostin and run like ---- Hence check valves or missing lin if stock ecu is present and yes you were wrong has ---- like jagojon3 pointed out |
Re: Tricking the MAP?
i said stock map sensor... didnt say anything about the ecu :l
you trick the ecu into seeing the boost thru the map sensor.. theres no way to go the other way is there... or am i just wrong...? i've had hondata or crome with all my setups so i dont mess with that ---- to be honest, all i was saying is the stock map sensor reads upto about that level of boost |
Re: Tricking the MAP?
So how would I go about a missing link? I saw something aout check vavles once... but it looked like a pain-in-the-ass...
