2.1 on streets is really good IMO. Best ever was high 2.3s for this monkey of a driver.

How do those times look correct when I ran FASTER IN A HEAVIER CAR with the same motor.

Your setup is fairly similar to mine, that's exactly the kind of times I would expect. Your probably around the same horsepower as me at 9psi and your trapping higher due to the lighter car. Go get some drag radials and practice, you will hit 12.9...

What is an H1C? I know the common HX's, but do you have a pic or anything like specs on it?

And dude, maybe the tune is different this time around, or the humidity was higher, or the track prep at the 80' mark sucked, or your tire pressure (big factor) is lower and you hit good 60's, but it scrubbed off your top end. Lot of variables. Tach isn't working and you're shifting earlier than you should. No joke, car is running again (praise God) and JK set me up with the CEL shift light for 7k, but I don't see it until about 7600rpm in my cluster. Yea, I'd be losing powerband and maybe you are too?

He is right there are too many variables, run open DP and get some traction (like how it was on the sedan) then you'll notice an improvement for sure... 300lbs is a lot

work on your suspension also, maybe some 1k springs in the rear, traction bars, and obx lsd? You would be amazed. Didnt read through all posts to see, but try running slicks also, unless your just going for street tire times.

Thanks for the replies.

I have Kyb agx's in the rear on GC coil overs, struts are as stiff as they go.. I plan on getting 1 k drag springs for the rear.

I have etd racing traction bars.. But have yet to do a REAL alignment. I only adjusted toe because of the POS alignment rack at my job. Caster readings were not working.

LSD would be great. But I have no plan on putting real money into this car. Ill weld the diff before I spend 4-500 bucks.

Id LIKE to run 12.9 on street tires. Thats the goal.

And I made a 2.5 inch downpipe, Its only about 6-7 inches long. Should work great for track night.

Only thing keeping me from going back now is my steering rack. After putting down the ebrake from a burnout in the box and launching I felt a hard clunk. Clicking noise through the sweep of the rack. I need another rack !

Always thought about this and never asked. Saw the car it was done to on a 240sx and thought "Hmmm, I wonder if you could just weld the differential in a Honda transmission the same way?" Guess you can though. If you do I'd like to see how that works out for you.

None-the-less, post back tonight and PRE-congrats on your 12sec run tonight.
