I think that is only MKIII-MKV chassis. The old *** ones were germanic, it is an 87 right?
8valve head is lame. I have a 16v that we could negotiate on

May as well do it right the first time and not be stuck with a half-assed unconventional turbo setup that pigeon holes your options to upgrade with the same equipment.

Not to mention I hate MKIII Supras and everything on them with a violent passion. Turbine housing tends to get funny cracks in the seam where the casting is. It's a lame turbo, get a better one.
