Im in the process of replacing the Ct-26 with a t3 or t3/t4. Iether of these seem more appropriate for my application. Also, the parts for these turbos are much more common, which sould save some time on fabrication.

Good choice. A t3/t4 will be more suited towards your larger displacement than a t3. As far as the ct-26, most of them sign off near the 15psi mark anyway, have funky flanges for everything, and are a ----- efficiency-wise. I have one, I use it as a paperwieght. :P
As far as fuel/timing options, I think k-pro might be the only "real" viable option. Just remember that those are retunless fuel systems as well, so I doubt a fuel rail is really going to help out much.
