I've already researched SMT6. To tell you the truth I just heard horror stories. Once they sell you their product, your on your own. Never the less, they do have a Turbo RAV4 project, but it's an A/T one. In my case, My RAV4 is a 5 Speed.

3sge will run you like 360 bucks and its about the same damn motor, exact same block. where as on the 3sgte swap your paying 1300 dollars for a poopy intercooler and a ct26 with a manifold that will probebly hit your starter when you put your front wheel drive transmission on it.

yeah but the 3sgte manifold doesnt bolt directly to a 5sfe.. u have to modify (cut the ---- outa) the alternator mount, or cut the manifold.. i chose to cut the 3/4 in. manifold flange cuz im a genius 
.. i hope it doesnt crack now.. haha.. o well HMT style. :

5s-fe, not a 3s-fe.
Secondly, SMT6/7's own your mother, and kill their equivilant competition in both how much they can do, and cost, including e-manage.
Werd 2 rawr. The A140E, and S54 transmissions are not a problem for the manifold, or turbo. You will not ahve a problem with your starter.
Be careful for god's sake. I can't say that enough. 3s/5s-fte projects alwasy fail on non mr2 applications. Normally because:
1) The builder & tuner is a ------- moron
2) The person driving the car is a ------- moron.
5s-fe's have proven to only make 230bhp reliably, in a great tune that doesn't lean out, or have a closed-loop tuning hole. Don't try for more without building in some very good safetymeasures like water/ethanol injection. The i4 intake manifold doesn't distribute evenly under all conditions. Be sure you over-fuel it everywhere.
Speaking of which... What size injectosr are you using? God forbid don't tell me 315cc Denso light-greens. You need mroe fuel than that. I don't give a ---- what certian people on TN tell you - notice they always blow up.
Buy an SMT6, then use it's extra injector output to run an extra injector before the throttlebody. That will ensure that you get an even mixture, that you have enough fuel to send a pisto, or rod into 30-40 little pieces, and it's a hell of a lot easier to tune.
Speaking of which... If you took two of those injectors & installed them before the TB, you could leave the stock injectors alone, let the stock computer run off-boost like normal - then simply add fuel VS boost. Then tuning is reduced to nothing more than sitting down to do a hand ful of math. You have 0 closed-loop/open-loop transition tuning holes, and off-boost economy remains the same.
