Default Too Many Miles For Boost. . . ?

You know, it didn't really catch my attention at first, but I do have quite a few miles on my del sol to be boostin' it. It's a b16a3 with 140k miles. Aside from tearing the ---- outa some tires in the turns , I don't really dog the engine too much. So I thought it would be alright. I never really thought how the previous owner drove it. It's never gave me any problems though. I'm getting a compression check done real soon, so that will happen before any kinda turbo is set in my engine compartment.
Anyone else have any ideas on what I should check/prep for my turbo?
And what kinda miles did your guys' cars have on it before you boosted it? thnx.

lol that's the first thing I thought I would hear it's gonna suck riding my bike to work in the winter though if I blow my engine. . . assuming I get this damn thing in any time this decade.

I figure if it doesn't burn any oil it's good to go :P......that's what I went by and my z6 had about the same mileage.

Yea, it's not burning any oil. Engine seems really strong. Only thing that worries me is that I've always noticed a little bit of oil that dirt would cling to in the engine compartment where the engine mates with the tranny. I looked closer and I now notice that I have small small small oil leakage from the head gasket.
Like, so small that about 6 months ago I sprayed my engine compartment down with that "gunk-away" ----, or whatever it is and pressure washed everything to make it look nice again. I've only now been able to notice the oil again.
Think it'll turn into a problem?

I ran 8 psi on my 262,xxxkm b18a with a slight hg leak, oil pan leak, valve cover leak, and it took a long time before that thing blew up. and then it ran on 3 cylinders, pulled harder than most cars around here. hg, ring lands due to failed pcv valve.

beat the **** out of it.

Any idea on what turbo/manifold/fuel management etc you are going to be using? Also, are you going to be building up the internals or boosting it in stock form?
