sometimes when im in 2nd or 3rd gear and i punch it (only 5 psi) the car feels werid, like it goes accelerates quicky but it sounds like its hesiatating and i can hear a small ticking/crackling sound aslo remember the car isnt tunned yet... (making an apointment) could i be running lean??

Short of driving down there and hearing it my own ears, it definitly sounds like detonation over the internet.

 

could be timing? my timing was off then i heard slight ticking then pop, bent all my valves.
