Default tial wastegate gasket

so i`ve read a lot about how tial wastegate gasket sucks. blown in 2 hours and stuff like that..
i didn`t belive it at first.
but i only had it on for TWO DAYS AND IT IS BLOWN NOW!!??

so where did you guys get yours at?

Yep, don't use one. Your exhaust poop will seal it just fine.

yes, lose the gasket, just use some high-temp copper silicone, works great

I don't run a gasket on my turbo, because the flange surfaces are machined it seals fine.

You might want to try a Deltagate "Fire-ring" gasket. That's what I'm using. It has a metal ring within the gasket and it eliminates that all too common gasket blowout.

actually the tial came with a firering too..but it is a metal ring only,

I actually found mine on E-bay. Someone was selling Tial wastegates that included the firering gasket. I just asked him if he sold just the gaskets....he said sure. I bought 4........

omg don't use the gasket. just take some sheet metal and punch a hole in it. or don't use one at all.
