do the 35 and 38 mm tial wastegates have the same flange? i'm pretty sure they do, but just want to make sure....

 

They do have the same flange. The only difference is the size of the hole in the center. Just make sure the hole in the flange is teh same size or larger than the one on the wastegate...

 

so you could just bore out the whole on your manifold flange to the same size as the hole on the wastegate flange?

 

Usually its not necessary to bore it out but you could I guess... =)

i have an extra tial 40mm flange if u need it to make the elbow fromt he wastgate down to the downpipe or to thhe atmosphere

it's no big deal, it's just that i have a manifold flanged for a 35 mm wastegate, and i found a good deal on a 38 mm, i know the flanges (wastegate to manifold) are the same style, but wasn't sure if they were the exact same size.
