Default Think I need a new clutch, no luck at track......

Here's more info on the track day
https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=23358

Well after about 2 weeks of good boosting I think my clutch or pressure plate finally gave. At the track the car would not move on first at all, dropping the clutch or not. If I just tried to come out the line letting the clutch off little by little it would not hold, same thing if I just popped it. The last run I noticed that even thought I "missed" putting the clutch in for third gear, the car did go on third, that's without using the clutch, same thing happened with 4th, Now I can go from 3rd to 4th without using my clutch.

Also on the highway, or after I'm already running, I can push the accelerator, and it starts boosting perfectly, you can feel it great, but after around 5krpm's it just doesn't go anymore, it feel like it's in neutral, like not in gear, like if I'm just parked and giving it gas.

I think I need a knew clutch kit.

a lil at 7700 rpm & chirps 2nd if i drop the clutch real fast on the shift. i'm taking it to morosso this friday. I'll post pics if i knew how to post pics that show up on the forum page.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, he has good feedback with those clutches. But I was still debating between buying a clutch for the hatch or the WRX, I guess the clutch on the WRX is still good, I can drive it fine, just wanted something stronger, but I really need the one for the hatch, so it will come first. Now I need money.

why don't you take the bell hitting hippie, put him on the llama, and panhandle at the off ramp? you'll make a small fortune! make sure he's hitting the cow bell while he asks for money!
