Thanks Dr.Boost and others 13.7@103 in the teg!!!

We just got the car dialed in last night and took it right to the track. We have spent lots of time trying to stop some pipes from popping off plus replacing expensive parts that people sold us defective, anyway, we got it done.

our first run as usual one of the charge pipes popped off. We drove the car down the rest of the straight and pulled off to fix it. Justin drove the car over to where I was sitting with my trusty tool box and blanket, unlike all the others around us with expensive trailers and rigs...we had a blanket...yea...anyway, we got the charge pipe on and tight then ran the car a second time and BOOM!!! 13.7@103mph in the quarter mile. I was over joyed inside and there was no one to share it with..Justin didn't even believe the timeslip when they gave it to him at the booth.

Anyway, thanks to all of you who helped us get it going...

13.7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats.. try putting a self tapper screw in the charge pipe.. put one on opposite side from the other so there is two total.. then grind off the inside part.. That will make something for the clamp to grab hold off.

Good run man.

Another thing that you can do to keep the charge pipes from falling off is you can put small "dot" welds on the ends of the charge pipes and IC.
Then the clamps have something to grip.

Cool. Nice run.

How much boost are you running for the pipe to pop off like that? Is it at a funny angle or something?

if the pipes are real smooth... where the rubber connector thing is... try and scratch them up with sandpaper or somethin... gives the rubber something to grab

We ran 13.7 @103mph and only 5psi of boost. Thanks to this site we were able to do it. Matching compressor maps, maximzing exhaust flow, fuel mixture, oil pressure control...etc...its all here.

I have posted tons of pictures on here of it but here comes some more. If you want to see them all including the build up, just check out the raw link. http://www.s-icon.com/images

I will be uploading some more in the next few hours if you just want to keep clicking...

when they are all on I will come back and edit the post and add them in...

Thanks again guys...DR.BOOST!!!!

PS: if any of you live in near or around Nashville, TN. come join us at the bellvue shopping center Saturday evening (2nd) for some late evening fun...call me if you can drive up but email me for the ph#
