temp goes up under boost... wtf!!
just installed a jdm f22b in my car and with boost the damn thing starts to run hot under boost. i am only running 4-5 psi and after a few good pulls my temp gauge goes to about 3/4 then if i drive normal the temp goes back where it is supposed to be i have tried flushing the cooloing system out and replacing the antifreeze. also tried using redline water wetter and that seemed to help the most. the car is not using any antifreeze or leaking any and there is none in my oil. i did a compression test on the motor and it read 174-175-174-176. there is no white smoke coming from the exhaust so could i have a bad headgasket? i have only really put about 800 miles on the motor since i put it in and have not really been beating on it to hard at all, not alteast till i get this figured out and uberdata in here. any ideas or suggestions?

well i know that i really could use one of those 2 inch aluminum one but i just don't have the funds right now i should in a week or two i am definitly gonna get one then. for know i am getting by on a once inch thick aftermarket one, i never had this problem on the h23 i just took out of there. i did try just revving the car with really no load and no boost and the damn temp was going up so i am beginning to think that it is not boost related, since most of the times i am revving high i am also boosting on the road. water pump maybe
? it is not leaking or making any noise, and i have never sold water pumps at work because the factory ones go bad.

yeah i have a front mount. for now i am using the fmu i took from my brother jacksons charger he is not using now and some check vavles. i do not run it hard with this setup that is why the boost is 4-5 if i run it. i am getting uberdata in a week or two.

i hear so many problems about temp rising under boost, i can rape my crx a full 1/4 pass in 100 deg. temperature and i see no rise in temp. and i run a stock eg 1/2 length radiator, the secret is i run a hardwired 800 cfm slimline fan that runs all the time....
