so i just got my turbo in the mail from the integraguy on honda-tech......well me and my buddy dan were looking at it and something just didnt seem right.....like it didnt hold together very well. well i guess im missing a center clamp or something so i was wondering if anyone knows if i can run without this clamp? or would it be unsafe/ unreliable?

also does anyone have this peice laying around

any info is apreciated.

Different turbo shown... but uses the same peice. It holds the center section and exhaust housing together. Maybe someone on the board has one. Its kind of a Tbolt clamp/ring, maybe make a WTB thread in our classifieds. Or hit up the junkyard. Those turbos are everywhere in the junkyards, I hope you didnt pay to much for that thing.

got exactly the same turbo toad as well! you need that clamp though, are you clocking the turbo or will everything fit if its mounted that way? what setup will you be running?

 

im trying to clock the turbo....i donno how to do it? do u just twist or what? it pretty much fits perfect as it is right now....just needs to turn a lil bit b/c the compressor hits the manifold....i dont really have all of my set-up right now im still buying it piece by piece. but i plan on running a FMU for management for about a month or 2 then when i get the money im going Turboedit!

 

what manifold are you using? im using an hf but don't have an adapter plate so i can't do a proper mock up. the guy i bought it off said it needs clocking. theres a sticky on here about rotating the cenrtre section on a t3 but, likewise, im not really sure what to do??

 

yea im using a STD manifold....pretty much the same thing just has a #3 on it and is a little bit thicker.

nono, Similar design but thats for a custom Downpipe, has nothing to do with attaching your center section. You have to get it from that turbo. Like I said hit up the junkyards. There are lots of "pull-a-part" "pick-a-part" style junkyards in WA.

 

alright well im hitting up meridian autowrecking this weekend so hopefully they'll have one!!!
