recently bought another volvo wagon... had a fairly large turbo in the rear end... guy was going to install it but never got around to it...

turbo is a typhoon/cyclone tdo6 17c w/ the 8mc2 turbine housing...

heres pics of it sitting next to the stock tdo5 13c



my real question is... whats it take to make a hybrid from these 2... i'm wanting to use the turbo on a somewhat smaller engine and i know there is no way in hell that thing will spool w/ such a large turbine...

the swap pretty much just as simple as removing the compressor wheel and housing and putting it on the other turbo?

i haven't pulled the stock td05 yet so i haven't realy gotten a good look so i figured i'd ask here...
