i got this deal im trading a brand new sony cd player & 80 buxs (still in box and plastic) for this guys 15g greddy turbo/ front mount
lil fyi....cd player cost lil over 250
i need to know what u think.... is it a good trade??

i was sohc boost bout yr ago and im still driving with a taped oil pan and i got few parts laying around

my previous turbo was a 15G i upgraded to a 16T, this 16T is AWSOME!

lets not look at the Greddy part but this is a good time to talk about the Mitusbishi TDO4H Series turbo.

On my side of the world everyone is using theres turbo's from a 13T up a 20T for the small cc guys (1600 toyota turbo's,1500 hyundai turbo's, 1400 uno turbo, 1300 Starlet Gt's.

1) they make very good power
2) They are very Robust i used to use Garret but they fail after a comple of month's were the Mitsi's are still pumping
3) Parts are very avalible
4) Great bang for Buck
5) turbo's areRedialy avalible.

There are guys boosting 2.5 bars and making good power with these turbo's running low 12's quatermiles..... Currently im boosting 1.5-7 bars and she still make spower.

what does the reast of the world think?

Ive been running that turbo for awhile (3 years? maybe 4). I'm pushing about 15lb, the problem is replacement. They are hard to find cheap..

hey hey all looking for some assistance.

I would like to know what the Max Boost Efficiency of the Tdo4h 16t turbo is.
As I calculate it to be at 1.6 bars but the word on the street is that they are gewd for 2+ bars. now I don't know if having a HUGE cooler+ Water/meth Injection will be able to Increase the Max efficiency range of the turbo.

I have been Boosting 1.5 bars for a while and have Now added Snow Performance Boost cooler. no I have two option with regards the tune of the car. Increase boost or keep boost the same but advance timing. the engine is good for the higher boost. So it will be Easier on the engine to merely increase boost. But I can only increase Boost as High as the Efficiency rating will allow. and also I don't want to over rev the turbo...

Now for the Question's on the TDO4 turbo.

1) the Bigger the size of the wheels the Higher the Efficiency Range will be?
2) Will having Superior Cooling, Huge intercooler/Water Meth injection improve the Efficiency rating of the turbo?
