Default TD04L-13T on a D16A1

I was wondering if anyone has any info/suggestions or links to this setup. Reason being, I am trying to decide on a turbo for my D16A1 engine and came across a good deal on a TD04L-13T from a guy who's swapping out the stock turbo from his WRX. This of course sent my mind pondering an HMT build.
Does anyone have any experience with this turbo on a 1.6L? I are a retard when it comes to reading compressor maps and CFM calculations.
Being stock internals, my HP goals are 160-170 maybe a little less.
What do you think, should I get it, or look for something else. Will this be an efficient turbo for my HP goals?

Thanks,
It's still a work in progress, but I already want to boost it
The guy just sold the turbo to someone else, so the hunt for a cheap snail continues...

IIRC like 1400 lbs stock.
The stock engine is also 25 lbs heavier.
Plus I think I removed enough crud from the crevices of this old POS to noticably improve the power to weight

You gotta keep us updated on this. I always wondered when someone was gonna wrench on one of those *******.
BTW, there are usually a few dirt cheap turbos in the for sale section. Good luck!

wow, thats going to be nice. i actually saw a 2g d16a1 swap before, it was pritty sick with dual webers and some headwork/cams i saw it keep up pritty well with a non-z06 corvette (vette won) got it by like 1 1/2 lengths

anyways, a small turbo like that would spool fast and make the power your looking for. my a1 makes 190 @ 10 psi. ive actually seen a stock zc run 240hp on a stock motor @ 15 psi on a 16g, but it wasnt a dd (didnt get beat) it ran 12.8s

my car weigh's 1900 lbs and my 170 lb buddy picks it up w/no problems, i could imagen that car allready w/a turbo.

there's a guy on redpepperracing.com that just finished a same kind of car w/a B16.
