Default taking apart 14b turbo (65pics=57K killa)

Well just took apart my turbo to find out that its junk , so I put it back together and took it apart + taking pics of every step. I posted all the pics and I'll do a write up today or tomorrow.

This doesn't necessarily describe a 14B only. They're all going to be relatively close if not exactly the same. Good info, great pictures none the less.

looks pretty good, I usually dont do turbo rebuilds in my living room though

what do u normally replace on a trubo when the oil is coming off the bov?

damn coming out the blow off valve already... just imagne how much is in the intercooler

A full rebuild is pretty much the only way to go, I mean you can half *** it if you got the parts laying around but most people buy "rebuild kits"

im also taking apart my 14b this is a good write up...but i noticed that to remove your exaust housing you had some sort of clamp...mine doesnt have that how do you get the exaust side off?
