T4 turbo with t3 turbine housing

Default T4 turbo with t3 turbine housing

i got this huge turbo its a borgwarner T4 and i was gonna buy a t3 housing to bolt to it does any one know if it works my turbo is .96 Turbine and the new one would be .63 but does the turbine wheel fit i'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same. thanks

this has been covered many-a times.

its like trying to mate a IHI exhaust with a 14b turbine and housing, it just doesnt work.

you need a Garrett T4 compressor housing and a Garrett T3 turbine housing....use the T3 bearing housing and shaft and turbine wheel and use the T4 backplate and compressor wheel and compressor housing.
A friend of mine did this and didn't need to balance, cause most or some Garrett's have the compressor side balanced apart from the turbine side..I didn't know this, but he told me and there was this place that balances turbo's , that does it that way to. Some weird stuff
