t3 turbo pointing straight back

t3 turbo pointing straight back
Hey guys I have a problem...my t3 turbo would face straight back towards my block and no room to put pipe for intercooler piping to get to the intercooler. Could I take out the intake side housing and switch it so it points in a different position so it would clear the pipe?
