t3 trim
How can I tell what trim my t3 is?
|
Re:t3 trim
Theres usually a number on the casing on the turbo. its gonna be like 42 48 or 63 maybe 60 aswell. Whats it off of.

Re:t3 trim
I believe that the trim is determined by the size of the turbine rotor in mm.

Those numbers (the ones on the housing) are the a/r of the housing, not the trim. The "trim" usually refers to the compressor trim, and is the size of the compressor wheel. But both wheels have a "trim". No idea what yours is. |
Re:t3 trim
The only way to know for sure is to take the compressor housing off and measure the the compressor wheel (unless somebody knows the trim for a stock 85 saab turbo). Check out this post on HT for some good info... http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=708622
The exducer diameter on all these turbos are the same, but the inducer diameter and flow rate are different.
