T3/T4 in a ZC
Im gonna be doing a dohc ZC swap into a crx. Im kinda new at the turbo thing but have been looking into it for about the past year. I was thinking about doing a T3/T4 Just wondering if i can have some friendly advice. Whats a good a/r and compressor? Definitly gonna get an IC. Questions about fuel management. Do I need a stand alone seriously or can i just upgrade the injectors? Would i just be better off using a 14b. Any advice is good advice Thanks in advance.

T3/T4 (depending on a/r) would spool a great deal later, but would put out some good power.. It's really up to you here, I'm not sure what you're into. I personally like to have a fast spooling turbo that lasts well to redline for a street car. Now a race car would be different.. I'd have high top power... had you planned on upgrading the internals? I just don't like D rods very much... with good fuel management, I wouldn't go much over 220 HP (that's me).
For fuel there's a few options. There's a lot of stuff going on in the world of the custom computer chips, so I don't see why you couldn't just get a burned chip to control 450cc's to pump your desired fuel... There's quite a few people that already have ROM chips doing all their fuel / timing needs.. including myself. Look into the fuel management section of the board, etc.

Re:T3/T4 in a ZC
Want something that takes a bit to spool. Dont want it spooling all the time. Only when i beat on it. Was thinking about some internal work but no machine work. Thinking bout pistons rods cams if i could find something. I wanna be running in the 13's somewhere. I would like to stay away from Zydene considering i dont have that kind of money. Thanks for the advice so far.

Heck, this is HMT, nobody has a zdyne! j/k... cept Dustin
Seriously now, you could get someone to burn you a chip for $20 or less. The chip is just a simple rom chip (28 pin) that replaces the stock one on your ECU. .
we need a sticky or something that explains all this.. but anyway. I'll make it simple. The chip can do it all for you. Fuel / timing and no check engine light while in boost. There are a few people around making their own BINARY files to burn to the chips, but ghettodyne is now in beta, so soon people will start catching on to this.
