T3/T4 trim ???
Hey guys
I'm looking at a T3/T4 turbo on ebay and this is the description:
"Turbo has a exhaust turbine A/R of .48 and a T04E compressor trim of 60. The Turbonetics Compressor housing has a 3" inlet and 2" outlet. Turbine has a large 2.5" exhaust outlet for larger downpipes! This turbo flows 50Lbs/min and can support up to 450 HP on any 4-8 cyl engine from approx 1.6 to 5 liters. Turbo can be used with internal or external wastegate."
With that trim what kind of lag would I be looking at on a B16A2. I'm still trying to understand the A/R and trim of turbos as to how they effect lag. I would appreciate any help on this.

Re:T3/T4 trim ???
48ar is the turbine side.. With a 48 you will spool very fast. I would guess at 3k or sooner. 60 is the compressor side.. That just has to do with how much air it will flow. The bigger it is it will slow spool time a little.. That is probably a good turbo for your engine.
