t3 or t3/t4 for b18a
Im gonna build a low budget turbo kit for my girls car. Shes gonna be running about 8 psi. Should i go with a t3 or should i go with a t3/4, i dont want something with alot of lag, i just want something thats gonna spool fast and go to redline, she is only gonna be at 8 spi cuase i dont want her to be going crazy,

None is a good answer. She'll wrap herself around a poll with a boosted Honda. But if you still insist, t3 all the way for 8psi. I'm running a t3/t4 with my GSR and it kicks *** but laggy as hell. A t3 with an A/R over .42 for the exhaust side should be fine. If the car is an autobox, I would go with a .42 A/R exhaust side since she/you won't have that much traction problems in 1st or 2nd in case you rev high--even though an LS won't rev as high as a GSR.

Most girls drive like ---- i admit, but my gf is responsble and knows how to drive a car, and her car is manual. i was thinking of just getting her a t3 garret with internal wastegate, i wasnt sure about the t3 t4 cuase i was pretty sure it was laggy

Screw it, just pick a smaller turbo for her. Just find a nice used T25 for $100. Or give her a cheap *** fucked up one, like those little shitty DSM turbos that you find on chyslers - and the 1g auto eclipse turbos...
----, can't remember the name, but it mates to a T25 style flange. Do you really forsee yourself staying with this girl long enough for the turbo project to pay for itself?

Hey man, I understand, you should see the maricales I work on my family's cars.. spent a good 8 hours on my dad's car yesterday.
I'm just seeing you dumping a lot of money into a girls car, if I did that for a girl she would surely dump me afterwards just for principal. Go all out if this is going to be a family vehicle.
I was suggesting a smaller, cheaper turbo because that is maybe all she needs. Think about it, unless you're building the block up and plan on major boostage is a t3/t4 really necessary? I think a good condition T25 might fit the bill for your needs. Weigh your options out man.
