Sure...they can be rebuilt just like journal bearing turbos. Course the chances of it being a T28 are slim to none... I'd have to be an Asian import.

Someone here in Austin contacted me with a Silvia "T28" turbo.. Says it came with a t3 flange too! Man, the magic happens when people want to sell stuff.

Incorrect. BB CHRAs are throw into the scrap iron pile and replaced with another Garrett unit in a box.
