T25 unpgrades?

Default T25 unpgrades?

Hi, I'm new here and I'm writing to you from Guatemala. I have a US-specs. Volvo 740 '88 "turbo ready". the past owner destroy the turbo and I want install a new one. A few 740's come with the Garrett T25 turbo and I want install one of them in my car, but I want know if is possible upgrade the turbo to something powerful. Thank you.

Why I should need rope? the car runs and I only wan if is possible improve the T25 or I should drop off the idea y search another turbo.

He's talking about the rules for n00bs, which you violated like Michael Jackson does his kiddie pals.

Any T28-type turbo will use a T25 flange. You can get a T28's from some JDM nissans, or GT28's from Garrett that range from 275-450bhp.

Thank you. How hard is find the T28 in the US junkyards? or is easier only find the compressor section y bolt it into the T25? I have a few pictures of T25 used in the 740.

t25 vs t28 really isn't going to gain you anything for the hassle, maybe 10-15hp

get a t3 frame and adapter plate for epic horsepowars

Well, I have a "T3 ready" manifold, but I'n focused in Daily Driving, so, the T25/28 is a better option for me. I don't think about a so small power gain with the T25, a 10-15HP gain looks too small for a turbocharged car.

I'd got a Volvo 850R and a T28 wouldn't even be worth upgrading to over the T25. Go ***** to the wall or give your mom a coat hanger and crawl back up her poonhole.
