t25 or t3 ???
As title says! i got a t25 on my car right now its .48 exh and .48 comp i also got a t3 with .42comp and in the exhaust bit its got the number 36 with the number 2 above it. i want to know which is better for dragging and general boosting? any ideas or suggestions will be really appreciated, thanks dudes
I got a T3... .42 comp and .36 turbine....I don't remember if there is a 2 above the 36 I do know there was something above it...maybe a 2.
I got it from a Ford Escort RS turbo....it spools quick and goes all the way to redline...my neighbour has it on his DOHC ZC also....I replaced mine compressor and wheel to a T4E 57 trim comp/wheel. It begins to boost at 2800 rpm's full boost at 3500...11 psi

If your gonna be dragging, I'd say go with something bigger like a t3 63/60 off a late 80's thunderbird. Your T25 is good for streets, but if you want to drag and get lots of power go with something much bigger.
Depending on trim you can make just as much power with eather turbo...the flange isn't very important, the trims are all that matter. With the right trim you would NEVER max out eather housing with that engine. (I've seen 750 hp with a t25 or a t3)

been searching but im not sure what the trim specs are, number 2 above 36 seems a little strange
