Ok I need to order some clamps but I'm not sure which of these two to order. I'm going to be running 2 1/2 piping with 2 1/2 nitrile for connecting hoses.

Anyways I know 2 1/2 is the Inside diamiater.... so should i order clamps that go from:
2 9/32"-2 19/32"
or
2 25/32"-3 3/32"

Anyways I don't want to order 10 of these and have them be the wrong size! I think the first one is the best choice but i dont want it to be too small because the outside diamater might be bigger.

 

2 9/32"-2 19/32" for 2 1/2" pipe.

Thats what i figured thanks man...just didnt want to make the mistake of it being too small.... I wish they gave you a lil more to play with in the area we need it lol

 

sorry bud that was the wrong size. The ID of the nitrile was 2 1/2 but the od is not.... exactly what i was afriad of now i have to send back the t clams and get bigger ones

 

those thing aren't cheap either. i bought a few because it said 2 1/2" and i figured since i have 2 1/2" pipe then that must be what i need. but sure enough they are too small, just my luck.

 

OMG I'm so sorry. After re-reading your post I realized that. I wasn't even thinking about the outside diameter of the hose fitting. I was thinking of the outside diameter of the pipe itself. Damn dude, I owe you one. You can go ahead and kick me in the nuts now. I deserve it.

Not cheap no kidding especially when you order 16 of them. Its ok you didn't do it on purpose. I'll send them back and exchange them....

I might take you up on that kick in the nutz later though lol
